Wooldridge Boat's 29' SS Offshore Pilothouse is a big boat for BIG adventures. And, yet, it's easy to tow, launch and retrieve. It takes on blustery open waters with nary a whimper and tucks into a mooring slip nicely.

It's hard to believe this 29-footer is so user-friendly when it comes to power (on the transom and in the tow vehicle) and at the fuel pump. That means more money for fun stuff and less for getting there.

This boat has the credentials for big water action. The 29'-plus length doesn't include the beefy offshore bracket with displacement box created for single or dual outboard power. You choose. There's plenty of freeboard for blustery waters and 40 degree deadrise in the bow and 18 degrees through the planning surface to smooth it all out.

The 9 1/2' beam enhances spacious room in the pilothouse cabin and more stability underway and at rest. Find a sheltered cove, set the anchor and let the crab pots do their job while you eat and sleep.

Visibility is excellent, in the all welded pilothouse cabin (three-panel, reverse angle windshield with panagraph wipers). Lots of room in the cuddy for bed time and there's a forward walk-around, bow rails, huge transom fish box, locking rod locker doors and 100 gallon fuel tank, standard. Of course steering is hydraulic.
