Wooldridge Boats 26' SS Pilothouse is a fishing boat. Yes, of course it's a great cruiser as well. And, it does offer the many comforts of home. But first and foremost it fishes. It's the choice of folks who range far and wide, by water and land to get at the best of fishing and cruising.

The mobility of the Wooldridge 26' Pilot is significant for many. It's a size that's comfortable to tow, on the short and long haul, and yet it's big enough to make those long jaunts on the water, whether it's across a big lake or for lengthy trips north.

This boat has the credentials for those open water cruises, measuring just over 26' before you figure in the beefy offshore bracket (which includes a displacement box) that welcomes single or dual outboard power.

The 8 1/2' beam means its easy business to put on the Ferry and park in a tight slip. There's plenty of freeboard for blustery waters and a beamy Deep "V" with 40 degree deadrise in the bow and 18 degrees through the planing surface to smooth out the ride.

The offshore hull is engineered for optimum strength with minimum weight. That makes it lighter for towing and enhances on-the-water performance with modest outboard power. That means less fuel burned and more money for fishing and cruising accessories and vacations on the water.

The all-welded pilothouse cabin features a three-panel, reverse angle windshield with panagraph wipers, sliding side windows (all Diamond Sea Glaze) in the cabin and cuddy. There's lots of room in the cuddy for sleeping.

The rear deck offers abundant fishing room and the toe kick assures comfort at the rails on those long days working the fishing gear. There's a forward walk-around, bow rails, huge transom fish box, locking rod locker doors and 100 gallon fuel tank, standard. Of course the steering is hydraulic.
